Best Dessert in NYC–Max Brenner

Satisfying your sweet tooth at Max Brenner is an understatement. Max Brenner is a chocolate restaurant with delicious food and devilishly good dessert. Recommending Max Brenner is a no-brainer, but part of me wants to save you from the following months of craving this piece of paradise after you leave NYC.

Max Brenner is one of the few decently priced menus in NYC, so it is win/win. A word for the wise, consider making a reservation beforehand, the line can get long—although it will be worth it. If you can’t get a reservation, walk-in put your name down, and shop around in the surrounding Union Square.

Choosing the right course on the menu may be too hard–leaving you with tossing a coin. For those who want a solid meal with plenty of room for dessert, I would highly recommend the South of the Border Avocado Salad. This salad comes with avocadoes, jalapenos, red onions, tomatoes mixed with cilantro and lime vinaigrette. If you are disappointed in this salad selection, I would feel more inclined to blame you than Max Brenner.

In the event you eat dessert first, dessert only, or dessert after dinner, I recommend…everything. It is a bold recommendation, but Max Brenner might as well be the King of Chocolate. The dessert menu is actually an entire booklet of salivating recipes. Try choosing a dessert without wondering if you should get five of these fabulous finds!

If you want fun with fondue, try the Profiteroles Fondue. This delectable dish is vanilla bean cream filling, banana chocolate fudge skewer, and to-die-for chocolate sauce for dipping.

Quit counting calories in the city, a true vacation in NYC includes Max Brenner.
